#23.09.25-Gratitude-Fast not feast every day

Gratitude for not eating like everyone around me:

We spend so much of our lives feasting, rarely fasting. The body doesn’t need nearly as much as we often believe. But fasting is not only about food — it’s about mindset. It is a discipline. And if I were a cell depending on my host to have a look at the inventory and give me a moment of break, I would be happy to be able to recover.

On travel eating became a hastle..getting my breakfast intake, then it was lunch again, and not to mention running for dinner. I was more busy with getting my food supply in, than travelling.

I am a practical person, who

It took me a few cycles to find my rhythm, so I wouldn’t crash. Now, I choose days with little pressure, when I can stay at home and allow the process to unfold gently.

Why do I do this? Because through fasting, my mind clears. My body feels lighter. Weight loss comes naturally, without a gym. And with it, I feel my immune system strengthen.

For this steadiness, I am grateful.
